A Rural Journal: {Yellow}

“The yellow glistens.
It glistens with various yellows,
Citrons, oranges and greens
Flowering over the skin.”
Wallace Stevens

I'm craving some yellow today.

An image borrowed from the past year
satisfies the yearning
for color, light and grace

in an otherwise drab and desaturated
morning.
