January 12, 2013

Peace.

As my husband rounded the bend of the lane to our home, he called me and instructed --

Grab your camera... there's quite a sunset.

I did just that.

No time to pull on rubber boots.
Dry socks and feet would be sacrificed again
for an opportunity to capture
that for which I am grateful.

One more day.

Rolling hills,
evergreens,
spacious skies.

Life is good.

  9. Gorgeous. On our way home last night we saw a beautiful sunset, too. I wish I had my camera (and wasn't driving) so I could have captured it. Nature is truly amazing.

  16. That is a glorious sunset. Here in western Arkansas we have so many hills and treed that it is hard to actually see a sunset.

  25. That's just gorgeous! I saw one yesterday, as we drove back home from the valley and the sunset was reflected in gorgeous clouds over the mountains. I didn't have a camera, but I saw it and for that I'm happy.
