As my husband rounded the bend of the lane to our home, he called me and instructed --
Grab your camera... there's quite a sunset.
I did just that.
No time to pull on rubber boots.
Dry socks and feet would be sacrificed again
for an opportunity to capture
that for which I am grateful.
One more day.
Rolling hills,
evergreens,
spacious skies.
Life is good.
