Melting.

Well, I'm not melting, but our snow is.

We don't have gutters on the farmhouse and when it gets above freezing, the snow slides down the steep steel roof and hits the ground with a big

BOOM!

Scares the baby bejeezus out of me.

But it's better than having gutters torn off of the eaves every winter.

Anyhoodles, here are a few more snow-ey scenes from a few days ago.

(I apologize to my Facebook friends who may have already seen these.)

  11. Fun images - our snow came and went on the one day of the year I did not want snow, the day my daughter traveled home from college for winter break - ugh! but your snow, well it looks fun (probably cause I'm not traversing it to retrieve a kid).

got a chuckle out of "baby bejeezus' - haven't heard that phrase for a very long time. hehe!

  33. Hey nancy, you have a very "hot" looking shadow!! Get snow clips for the roof, they work very well! Merry Christmas my dear friend, and don't stand anywhere near the farmhouse. That sliding snow hits you and you might be a goner ;((
