Nothing beats a warm stove on a chilly morning!! My dogs used to love sitting as close to the fireplace as possible!
ReplyDeleteBasic needs almost always prevail over basic instinct (cat vs. dog).
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pic of the doggies! :-)
ReplyDeleteBring on the warmth and let's snuggle . . .

ReplyDeleteNice pictures of the 'warming' crew!
ReplyDeleteI can feel the calming warmth! Beautiful photos of your animals. Sweethearts. :)
ReplyDeleteNancy, I didn't know you kept GSD's they are sooo beautiful. Lovely mono conversions aswell. Swell job
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I love them in black and white. I'd love to cozy up with them in front of the wood stove :)
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like the wonderful heat from a wood stove! We got rid of our several years ago and converted to a natural gas furnace and a free-standing gas stove. Although the latter's heat comes close, it just isn't the same as wood. Besides, it's behind my husband's chair, so if I want to warm my behind, I have to stand on the hearth between his chair and the stove. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of congregation Nancy!
ReplyDeleteYes, at this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere a warm stove will bring together most anything! Great photos Nancy.
ReplyDeleteLove these images, they speak of a warm home.
ReplyDeleteWe call our congregation around the wood stove the, "dog bomb".
ReplyDeleteBeautiful b&w images. There's nothing quite like the warmth of a fire when it's cold outside. Our dogs have enjoyed our fireplace this week and so have we!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Nancy
ReplyDeleteOh, these are great! And those 2 in the last shot look as if they are saying...What does she want now? She's disturbing us! And the stove detail is excellent. Only problem with that stove is moving away from it! Hope you are getting ready for a relaxing weekend!
ReplyDeleteNecessity breeds forgiveness! Beautiful images!
