A few of the bloomers in and around the farmyard in late June.
It's been very hot lately, and humid -- so twice daily watering is not uncommon.

I love the texture on these photos!! The one of the sunflower is total perfection!
ReplyDeleteAt least you have some blooms to photograph - I ventured around the neighborhood the other morning and it seemed everything has been eaten up by the bugs. (and my neighbor with the sunflowers moved - so sad; guess I'll have to plant my own). Love your first shot especially.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Nancy! The photos of your blooms are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty flowers. I just love that big Sunflower..
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of flowers! I should start watering 2x a day...or for that matter, 1x a day. Maybe my garden would be doing better....

ReplyDeleteLove your header and flowers photos are wonderful . . ,
ReplyDeleteWow, such a variety of pretty flowers. I really like the first photo because there is just something about flowers planted in an old pitcher or watering can that just pleases me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! and I love your new header.
ReplyDeleteafter 103 degrees here yesterday, it looks like the desert around here. Everything withered quickly.
Probably I should water twice daily!
such a lovely flower collection :) have a great week/end ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Flowers Nancy. sandie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Nancy! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteand congratulations on 1000+ followers!!
oh these are beautiful nancy!! we are in for some intense heat through the weekend!
ReplyDeleteAll these flowers are just gorgeous, Nancy. I have lived most of my life in either Arizona or Texas, where the heat and sun are so intense that we rarely have yard flowers much later than May. Nasturtium has always been one of my favorites and they bloom here in Texas in very early spring, and of course petunias rarely survive through June. Even our daylilies are all gone by now!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers n love the edits you made to them.
ReplyDeleteNo Nancy, I followed you from Katherine's Corner and found another blog party. I'll link up real shortly. I do love the photos that you have of your flowers. I particularly like your image of the portulaca in a cup.

ReplyDeleteLovely! The Baby Breath is my favorite. I've been having to water twice a day...it's almost like a full time job keeping everything at my house watered. I'm still hoping for some rain.
