While I was mowing the other evening, I caught Jack taking a snooze
on the old school desk sitting by our back door.

Jack looks like a real sweetie. I LOVE orange cats. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the composition of this photo.
ReplyDeleteAren't cats funny! It amazes me how they can sleep while squatting!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the cat we had when my kids were little. His name was Stinky. I don't remember why now, but I'm sure there was a good reason. lol Jack is a cutie and love that old desk.
ReplyDeleteBased on my cats - I'm pretty sure that "is" their job (as far as they are concerned). Cute shot.
ReplyDeleteSleeping? or Waiting for the door to open and make a mad dash for the bed?
ReplyDeleteGreat photo,Nancy!!
Jack is so cute and what a great picture. A lovely way to start my Saturday!
ReplyDeleteaw, cute little snuggle-butt.
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo, Nancy. Good job! Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteLivie wonders what cats do to be so tired all the time.
ReplyDeleteAny port in a storm.
ReplyDeleteReminds me once in my other house I was sleeping on the couch and woke up to a noise and saw a light in the back yard. Got up to see what it was and it was the police in the alley and the officer was shining his flashlight in my yard. So I went out and asked if I could be any help and he asked me if I'd heard anybody out there. Then he shined his light down at my GUARD DOG and he was sleeping on the grass about several worlds away snoring. The guy laughed and said -- your dog dead? I put my foot on his leg and it was only then that he got up and started barking. The officer cracked up. Great little watch dog.
a classy shot, Jack is very laid back
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little cat. Looks like the mower didnt disturb him too much.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot! He looks awfully cozy sleeping at the school desk. He rivals some of my students. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a peaceful shot. Really love this, and the processing is spot on.
ReplyDeleteI really love the expressions cats have. It makes me think "what in the world is that cat thinking?", see? The curiosity of a cat gets me wondering what's going on in it's head.
ReplyDeletesleeping while the mower is running? he must have been pretty tired! =)
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard being a cat!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful photo.
Hopefully he didn't have any "school" nightmares and fall off. I used to have school nightmares all the time.
ReplyDeleteThat is how I feel right now :) I could take a nap.
