She's a beautiful sculpture, Nancy. I see you brought some special images back from Omaha with you. I'll have to miss Rural Thursday this week....we're leaving on a short trip in the morning. We're going to visit the fossil beds here in Eastern Oregon (first visit for us!)...and I hope to have some interesting images myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you suppose she was looking at, or was it obvious?
ReplyDeleteThat Barbara Sher quote is true... it gave me a heart skippity.

ReplyDeletePERFECT quote for this lovely capture! Nancy, your headers are always AWESOME. LOVE how you always mix it up!
ReplyDeleteI love reading books about early settlers. They always seem so tough and yet romantic. I wonder how it was to them, to be striking out across what was to become Nebraska, it must have felt like the end of the universe after their small European countries.
ReplyDeleteI just love that sculpture! There's a sort of feeling that she's stepped outside and taking a big breath of fresh morning air at the start of a new day! I also liked the quote you placed under it! Joan
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect quote to go with a beautiful sculpture!
