Well, one wren is back.
He's singing his precious little heart out, calling for Mrs. Wren,
who apparently had an unexpected layover in Albuquerque.
Is that her?
Nope. Just another pesky female sparrow.
Go away tramp! I'm a married man!
I wonder if she could be tidying up our secret nesting area?

Yoo whoo! Anybody in there?
Stella!
Stella!
: : :

"Go away tramp..." if only it were that simple! -lol-

ReplyDeleteI love the image of the singing wren! My sister, who lives several blocks away on a much larger lot, used to have wrens that nested in one of their birdhouses. Such delightful little things.

Handsome little fellow.
ReplyDeleteThe little wren really does look like he is singing his heart out. I love to hear them sing.
ReplyDeleteOh, I so wish the wrens would visit me!
ReplyDeleteThe first two shots are amazing! The last two looks complex with all the wires visible; yet it was nice of you to capture the wren. Were you using an SLR?
ReplyDeleteYour site is beautiful and with all the photos here, you seem like a pro photographer. I am not a new blogger but decided to only connect now and learn a few things from others. Also, it's more fun to have many friends. May we exchange link? Take care, Farida :)
