  17. If this were more surrounded by trees, I'd confuse it for the 'old' Lutheran church where I grew-up. They moved into a newer church in town, but each year held Heritage Day at the old one and it was wonderful. Perhaps it was the more food than imaginable - perhaps the simple unpresuming design of the church.

  21. It looks as if it's still in use. So many of these old structures are abandoned...and in the case of one outside of our town, rented out for inhabitation. Then a wood stove leads to a fire and complete destruction. At least I have a great b&w photo and a watercolor.
