ReplyDeleteLove.love that shot, Nancy! Pioneer churches hold a special place in my heart! Is this one still in use? Thanks for hosting YSB...
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome photo. It looks like a painting! I had to look twice ... you sure you didn't paint this????
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Nancy!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteSuch a peaceful and quaint little church.. Very nice photo my friend..
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Reminds me of a little Baptist church not far from us. So lovely, Nancy...and the processing is great!
ReplyDeleteThe quintessential country church!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Nancy! Both versions.
ReplyDeleteIf this were more surrounded by trees, I'd confuse it for the 'old' Lutheran church where I grew-up. They moved into a newer church in town, but each year held Heritage Day at the old one and it was wonderful. Perhaps it was the more food than imaginable - perhaps the simple unpresuming design of the church.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful church and so very appropriate for Your Sunday Best! ;~)
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful church and your photo especially.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, what a beautiful country church. Would love to see the inside too. Hope you have a lovely week-end. Love and Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSimple truth...:)JP
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if it's still in use. So many of these old structures are abandoned...and in the case of one outside of our town, rented out for inhabitation. Then a wood stove leads to a fire and complete destruction. At least I have a great b&w photo and a watercolor.
ReplyDeleteSweet looking church.
