A low front was moving in last evening and rain was expected overnight.
Not knowing how strong the storms would be, I thought it best to
take a few photos of the various bloomers in the yard before
the wind blew them into the next county.
Quite a departure for me, no editing was done on any of these images.
I know -- that's crazy-talk, but it's true.
I thought it would be nice for you to see them
exactly as I did.
Besides, I didn't feel like editing a ton of photographs this morning.
It happens.

These are spectacular shots and the "natural" look works perfectly! We get lots of wind, too, but I think that's where the comparison ends. Blooming here: dandelions, dandelions, and more dandelions. My up close and personal experience with them yesterday consisted of attempts to wrest our faltering heather and mock orange from their grips. The camera will find them when I'm more able to forgive them.

I could just be lazy and say "ditto", but I won't...I loved all the photos - even the poor, sad dandelion (whose seeds could happily be blown into the next county, thank you!), but the blue spruce was especially beautiful. We don't have them here, so it was different. Same for the Wild Yellow Prairie Rose - loved it! It is nice to be back visiting some blogs - I have been sorely missing them!
