Viburnum.

This has been the best year yet for our two viburnum bushes. They are so loaded with creamy snowball blooms, the bottom branches are touching the ground.

I've always admired these bushes and they were one of the first we planted on the farm when we moved here almost 10 years ago.

  1. I love viburnum...they make me think of hydrangeas. My post for tomorrow has a few in it. Your photo looks much prettier than mine though :)

  8. So beautiful - such soft feeling to that photo! Hubby and I had a discussion about viburnum the other day...he was thinking you could change the color by adding acid of alkali to the soil...I had to straighten him out and tell him that was hydrangea. I am not sure he believes me still!

  9. Oh I just love those 'snowball' bushes! Never knew their proper name. Now that I have space, time to get some planted. I the mean time, your lovely picture will keep me inspired.
