what a charming little barn!lovely photo!
I love your barn photo:)
Beautiful, all alone, on it's own;)
Another lonesome barn that I'm sure is full of stories. Would love to see inside it!
Nice barn, sitting all alone...wonder how people get there? Tractor across the fields...4-wheeler? Oh, the stories it could tell!
So interesting that it sits solo in the field. It's a great barn!
Another great barn. The treatment you used works perfectly.
Beautiful.Access may have long been lost to "progress".
Poor thing out there all alone. Nice shot. B
The house and path/lane/road to it are probably just long gone. Funny how it just sits out there all lonely by itself.
Wow, this photo looks like it just popped straight out of the 50's. Excellent work NancyShaunValleys ShutterBug
This barn is very nostalgic looking! Terrific!xo Catherine
Another great barn. And, how lonesome it must be. Thanks for showing us!
Charming barn! Love the dutch doors and the weathered paint. The roof is cool too! Makes me a bit sad when they sit out there all alone but I bet there are some interesting live things living inside!
love the processing and the composition..... well done
Very charming & I love all the windows & doors! Thanks so much for joining, in advance =)
I can just picture horses sticking their heads out of the middle door.
How interesting ... out in the middle of nowhere. Wonder what's its story.
Cool vintage feel to the processing, Nancy :)
really pretty. i like the little half doors.
A lonely barn out in the middle of nothing. It's hard to imagine a road just disappearing, or no trace of a house foundation. But there it stands, just waiting for someone like you to take its photo:-)
How charming Obviously sadly neglected if no access road, but still charming.
Any building like this...no road, no other buildings...always intrigue me and that's an important thing that a photo should do. Thanks for making my mind wander and wonder!
I love the elegance and quiet grace you bring to your photographs and posts. There's a surprising dearth of rural lifestyle blogs in A/Z. I'm glad you're here. Thanks for sharing.Best,JoeB/BarnstormingCreate a website
Can imagine how active this must have been in its hey days.Wondering how you managed this elevated shot.
Oh love barns do you ever think about the history of them like I do? Who built them? Makes you wonder. Have a great day
Beautiful shot, treatment is just right. Well done! The shape of this building looks so familiar and classic. . .and not all that long forgotten.
what a beautiful shot!Happy A to Zbaygirl32.blogspot.com
I just love American barns and this one is a sweetie I love it's slightly tatty look!
I love the angle of the roof on that barn! So interesting about the lack of a road to the barn, I love mysteries like that!
Strange about the lack of a road, it doesn't look too terribly old, I can see some metal panels over to the side. Anyway, GREAT barn! :)
That's a good one!
I love the picture.
maybe it fell from the sky, like dorothy's place ;)))sweet barn, tall roof lines!!
Love this photograph Nancy. The colour and textures are just perfect. It certainly has charm :)
You amaze me with your beautiful processing work. You are so talented. I really like the subdued feeling of this....light and gentle. You did a great job of capturing texture. Love that white trim. genie
It's full of charm! I love the little window at the peak. It's very strange that it has no road going to it.
Not in too bad of shape for an abandoned barn.
I like how you make them look like old postcards :) Have a great week, Nancy!
Now that is cool. A solitary barn out standing in a field inaccessible by motor vehicles.
That's a big one and it looks like there was an add on.
A great building and I really like the way you processed this photo.
Hello there. Great photo! Love how you edited it!
A great vintage picture.
Doesn't it make you curious about these isolated barns? I've seen a few around here...I guess there must have been houses somewhere nearby ...at some time! Great editing!
wish i lived in a less busy place, never seen a barn ever in my area and i would be so enamored if i did up close.
Another great old barn. Seems a little lonely.
A barn to keep some memories, if it has.
I just love the shot of this barn. Your editing looks great!
i'm curious, if there was no road leading up to the barn how did you get there? it has my brain turning around & around. ha. ha! great processing. (:
What a great barn this is, and I love the tones in this photograph.
I really love this one...it is just so nice.
Lovely barn, and I like your treatment. Very nice!
I like this photo a lot. Great barn. Nice color and shape.
this is a nice old barn!
I like well used barns. On my drive along Highway 195 in eastern Washington there were quite a few barns out all by themselves too. - Margy
