Time again for another Scavenger Hunt with Ashley Sisk.

A bit of a stretch, as they say -- but the perpendicular crossbeams of this ranch gate serve my purpose well.
An unusual sight here in eastern Nebraska, but a welcome one.

The Gerbera daisies were available at my grocery store this week for $4.99.
I just had to buy one.

Beautiful images. Kitty looks so cozy perching on that post. It's amazing where cats are able to plop and place themselves. My ex-husband's grandmother used to say that when you see a cardinal, you should close your eyes and make a wish. I still do that to this day. Not that I'm seeing any cardinals in Kuwait. Great set this week, Nancy. I absolutely love cardinals in the snow, but I have not snapped one this whole winter, hear them, but don't see them. I really like the new gerbera against the old photo...lovely. And that cat, great shot!!

I can't see gerbera daisies and not buy them. They are just too beautiful. And that shot of your cat - I love it so much. It's amazing how a cat can look so serene when really they are just ready to pounce on you or anything.
