Now that it's all over, what did you really do yesterday that's worth mentioning?

I'm frightfully behind on my blog commenting, which I hope to remedy today.
A horrendous sinus headache emerged after this walk in the cold wind --
I spent most of the day in a painful, medicated fog.
Feel much better today after a hard sleep last night.
Thank goodness for NyQuil.

Beautiful pictures... I haven't stopped by in a long time due to a big move... I've missed seeing your lovely photography.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Jenn
Glad your feeling better! :O)
ReplyDeleteOy! Hope you're feeling better! Walks in the cold tend to help my headaches! These pics are stunning, as always!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty pictures. Sorry to hear you had such a bad headache - that is never good. Glad you are feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteglad to hear you are feeling better, sinus headaches are the worst...nyquil is some good stuff! pretty pics from your walk!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the photos - I especially love the paw print one.
ReplyDeleteI hope your headache is better (using neti pot with distilled water always helps my sinus headaches).
Get better!
ReplyDeleteWell, to be honest I suspect I´ll hold on to this tradition until they are in their 30´s..! No matter how they feel about it, haha! :-D
I hope you are feeling better today. At least you got to take a walk and take some awesome pictures. Me? I worked, hard and fast. Trying to catch up from Monday and Tuesday so I can spend today getting ready for next Monday and Tuesday. The good part of the day was at camera club where my picture took 1st place. That made my day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! Sorry to hear about the headache, they`re the worst.
ReplyDeletei am glad you are feeling better : )
ReplyDelete... and that question up there is a very good one !
i'm glad you're feeling better :) nothing like a good night sleep to renew us. I'm more awake each day but feeling a lack of inspiration. already changed my little buttons in wonderland. thanks a bunch for the tip. xxo
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling better! I hate sinus issues.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics - what are the lumps on the ground?
Black walnuts. :)
DeleteI hope you get rid of that nasty headache. We have some aches and pains from the cold weather but nothing a hot cup of tea and warm blanket can't cure. Lovely photos, as always.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better! Great series!
ReplyDeleteThose are the worst! My husband has been dealing with that on and off all week! Feel better!
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful images... i think macro evokes such emotion, and tells a great story in tiny snippets.

I have horrible allergies, so I can definitely sympathize with your sinus headache :( They're awful! Hope you feel better Nancy, and that the headaches stay away! Lovely shots :)
ReplyDeleteNancy, I'm so glad you're better. That painful brain fog is not pleasant! I love this post (except for the headache part) because mostly you let Nature speak through images.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nancy! =)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the sinus headache, I know how horrible those can be. Hope you're feeling better now after your drug induced sleep. Love the shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots & I sure hope you are feeling more like yourself soon- so sorry to hear about your sinuses.
ReplyDeleteJust came this way from It's a small town life. Sorry to hear about your headache they can be so nasty
ReplyDeletebut by the time you get this you are out of the woods with it. This seems to be an interesting blog from a part of the world I know nothing about. I look forward to coming back again.I invite you to pop by my blog some time.
Sorry you were unwell. Particularly love your 3rd capture.
ReplyDeleteSinus headaches and sinus infections are pretty miserable. Cold weather really makes the sinuses hurt too! Take care. I didn't do much yesterday except hang out at the doctor's office with my butt showing. I really dislike gowns with no tie strings!
ReplyDeleteah, the change of seasons vs. sinuses. ugh!
ReplyDeletelove the shelf fungi! and, of course, the fence line!
Glad you're feeling better. I really like the last photo. Great perspective!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures...love the quote...somedays when I go to do a post...that is where I am at....what have I done that is post worthy:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love the fungi. Hope you feel better soon.

Your photos are always so lovely. I love using shallow depth of field. We have parasitic mushrooms too.
ReplyDeleteWoW! I'd never checked out Pinterest til you left the comment this morning & there's sooo many awesome ideas! What a great website & thank you again for throwing it my way! =)
ReplyDeleteoh, I have a barbed wire image that's very similar! I'll have to share it sometime. Sorry about the sinus stuff...I used to suffer from it on a regular basis, but I do believe I've outgrown it! I wonder if that's truly possible? After our heavy snow yesterday, we're having heavy rain today. It's enough to give anyone a bad sinus headache! 4-wheel and all-wheel drives will be the choice of transportation for anyone out and about today.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are exquisite and very thoughtful. I love when there is little narrative, but the viewer can let their mind drift....I wish you hadn't had to pay a price to take these....but we appreciate them all the more. smiles: sharon
ReplyDeleteAwe - I really like the animal print photo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Favorite Things Thursday.

So - this is where our snow went! Send it back. Love the fungus with the snow background.

I was actually sick myself. Some crazy virus. Had to be off work for two days. I'm much better after some serious sleep and some meds. Hope you are all better now :)
ReplyDeleteLet Nature be the doctor.
