Snow -- a no show.

The snow yesterday didn't really amount to much.

The sun came out and melted what little was there.

I can't believe I'm complaining about not getting snow.

We are such fickle people, aren't we?

Snow here! It started again this afternoon ---joining the wind that began this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be the Big Snow Day, according to forecasts. We'll see. By the weekend, we're supposed to have rain. Oh Lordy!

It gets my creative juices flowing to see how you take details and turn them into wall-worthy photos.

Yep here too! Freezing rain and 70 mph winds last night that I thought were going to rip off the roof but nary a flake!
When I was young I loved a good blizzard but now......naw.
Have a great day Nancy!

Love all the shots, but especially the kitty. I always say I'm not happy unless I have something to complain about, so now I'm complaining about no snow. lol

I'm a little bumped too. One day it's snowing and next day it's 50 degrees and it all melts. Weird winter...

Kathryn Dyche Dechairo said...

It's been frosty here but thankfully no snow . . . . kind of a strange winter so far.

Diane Cayton-Hakey said...

The weatherman has been showing snow in our forecast off and on for the past couple of weeks, but it never arrives. So sad. I'm just so sad.

Sonya @ Under the Desert Sky said...

Sorry you didn't get enough snow - you still got some great shots, though. I especially like the one with the light and its shadow. And the black kitty.

alicia said...

Sorry mother nature had other ideas for you... lol. Lovely shots, especially the 3rd one.

There's my Curmudgeon Cat, Ted. He's so beautiful. But what's he doing at your place? Probably ticked off at us. Again. Send him back when he gets over it, will you? Enjoy the weather...

Beautiful. We are waiting for snow here too. It's cold, 6 degrees right now. xo

May you be blessed with snow soon! Great pictures! Love the first one in particular.

We're having weird weather too. Yesterday, a drenching thunderstorm including hail, then the temps dropped and left a little dusting of snow overnight.

Your pictures are lovely. I like the barn light and,of course, the cat!

Ha, yes we are all fickle that way! Love your shots, especially the one with the blue berries!

Tried to pic a favorite photo and can't. All have such visual interest, great texture, and shadow, too. Did you "paint" that third to get the blue? Awesome!

I don't know about fickle, but it is supposed to be cold and snowy at this time of year, doesn't feel right, actually feels a little weird. Love the photos today, eventho there is no snow.

The dark black cat, and thinking of your bright white snow. Yes, we are all fickle. Think you nailed it for a lot of people. Winter is here, and we have to adapt. Only I do not have snow winters like you do.
