As if given a verbal prompt, my Double Record amaryllis from Brecks bloomed on Christmas Eve.
Here's a tip for photographing indoor flower blooms in macro -- use a spray bottle filled with water to spray the blooms prior to snapping your photo. It provides a bit of interest during the dark, cold days of winter.

ReplyDeleteA spray bottle of water can also work well when you're shooting macro shots outside and nature didn't provide any dew that morning... love your bloom!

Lembrei passados desvanecidos
Senti aromas que pensei perdidos
Senti que a vida me infligiu mil castigos
What a beautiful Amaryllis, I love the colors. You have captured it so well!

Beautiful photo and processing. Love it.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNew year resolution? Year end resolution? Why wait until year end?
ReplyDeleteI always argue with myself it is only the difference between today and tomorrow, but not a group of 365 days, or it is only the continuation of one of the day.
Everyday is a new day.
Thanks for the photography tip!
ReplyDeleteAnd...beautiful bloom...an extra Christmas present.
Beautiful!
