Scavenger Hunt Sunday and An Award

First, I want to thank Daphne of My Distant Husband, for giving me the "One Lovely Blog Award." I'm very flattered and appreciative -- thank you, Daphne.

Daphne has a very unique and special talent of writing straight from her heart -- there's no fence-sitting with Daphne. You know exactly where she's coming from. She writes about some pretty heavy issues, but with grace -- which makes her blog one that I genuinely like to visit. You just never know what's on the agenda -- please consider visiting Daphne and giving her some love.

I'm passing this award on to all of you. I so enjoy your comments and visits. Thanks for being a part of my blogging experience.

Now on to Ashley Sisk's Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Here are the five prompts this week and my interpretations:

1.Waiting

It was warm inside and cold outside. Obviously, Tuki wanted to be inside.
I am loathe to admit, I shut the door -- it was too painful to watch her hang from the screen,
waiting and hoping, hoping and waiting --
to be let in.

2. Foliage

If you can call a wayward corn husk and a dried up iris foliage,
I guess this would be your shot.
Truthfully, it was so gusty yesterday when I took this SOOC photo,
there wasn't much in the way of foliage left anywhere.

3. Candid

Sioux's waiting for a stick to be thrown by her main man.

(Hey -- I have lots of critters and not many people around here. Candid is candid. Right?)

4. Knife, Fork or Spoon

My husband's pocket knife.
He brings it to bed.
Not really.
Only because he hasn't thought of it yet.

5. Rule of Thirds

Please visit Ashley at Scavenger Hunt Sunday for more unique and beautiful interpretations
of these prompts. Thank you.

Knife? Good thing to own and carry when bears live just beyond the hill... LOL Seriously, Hubby always keeps his knife nearby.

Your' "waiting" capture is my favorite! I am envious you were so quick to capture it! When I sit at my computer, I have a squirrel who comes by and peaks in the front window at me. EVERY TIME I reach for my camera he is GONE! Must be camera shy :). Great set this week, and a belated "Happy Thanksgiving" to you!

Very nice photos. Very soothing. I love the pocket knife the best. The shadows are fabulous, even if they do make it harder to see the details.
