How how fun. I've never tried Gimp before. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
So nicely done Nancy!
I've not tried either of these, but will have to do so.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
Terrific jop, Nancy. I will check out your tutorial. Thank you!
Terrific Sunday Best photo!!
I like the mosaic look. Have a good rest of the weekend too!
That does look like fun Nancy. I'll check out your tut and see if I can apply the learnings to PS.
Congrats to Branson Lee for winning my Pixel Dust Collection of fine art textures. I'll send off the zipped file as soon as I receive an e-mail address.
Thanks for your generosity of spirit here Nancy!
this is so creative, you do the most amazing things!!!
Very cool, Nancy!
I've heard of gimp, but haven't tried it out. I'll have to look into it. =)
It's amazing how different you make the shot look with all those edits.
Teresa
Very fantasic textures. Have a nice Sunday.
Fun edits, nicely displayed!
Looks like fun : )
You're so creative, Nancy. I wonder what your farm looks like! Is it as beautiful as your blog? More pictures of that, if you please! :)
Thank you so much for the tutorial as I will attempt it as soon as time allows. I do however, have one small suggestion. Is it too much to ask to have it "printable" so dummies like myself can follow it step by step?...:)JP
I always love seeing the variations of edits. This series is inspiring.
I so need your tutorials! I hope I can find a few moments today (quiet moments - ha!) when I can go study up - thank you :-) I always love your shots when you're playing around!
Oh and as for the race - no doubt some of it was nerves, and I think some of it was also the heat. One of my running friends was feeling the same way - and she's a seasoned racer too.
cool techniques from Gimp!
Thanks so much for the head's up re: Gimp...I've been using Picnik for awhile now and it has hooked up with Google Picasa so instant effects...so exciting. Have a great Sunday! Ron
I love seeing your variety of edits/processing. this is so much fun. your creativity shines! thanks for hosting My Sunday Best each week Nancy. it's one of my favorite memes. I hope you have a great week.
I always wanted to start using Picnic, so this wonderful row of great pictures is like a little kick in my butt. Thank you.
I love seeing what you do with your photo editing. Your pictures are really inspiring me to learn more about the process. Looking forward to reading more of your blog. Thanks for hosting Sunday best, I love seeing everyones posts.
gimp looks like fun to use! the photo turned out kind of andy warholish.. I love visiting your blog nancy!
I like how you expressed yourself here, Nancy! I've never tried Gimp, I'll have to check it out.
Congrats to Branson Lee!
This is fun. It is screaming "Put a ribbon on me and hang me up!"
I love all the variations you used on your flower. Really cool! I've never tried messing around with my images--now I really want to give it a go! Thanks for the inspiration.
Creative and interesting photography, as always, Nancy. Thanks for hosting Your Sunday Best. Great idea!
I've played with Picnik a bit, but hubby keeps telling me I should try Gimp. He thinks it would be more along the lines of what I'm looking for in photo editing. I don't want automatic, I don't want to do what everyone else is doing, and I want more control over my images.
I have PS Elements 9 and I hate it (sorry, I just do). When we bought our new Mac the old version of PS no longer worked. When I saw the price of the new version I just about passed out. I'm saving up (it will be a while), but I want plain old PS again!
